US 27 from Highlands County Line to North of SR 60

Polk County

District One of the Florida Department of Transportation ("FDOT") is conducting a Project Development and Environment Study (“PD&E”) for a potential 20 mile widening of US 27 project from the Highlands County line to the north of SR 60 in Polk County. FDOT intends to examine the need for an expansion from four lanes to six to improve traffic flow.
