The project will span 4.3 miles from 111th Place Lane to SW 61st Street. The purpose is to increase capacity, improve operation, and introduce pedestrian and bicycle facilities. The project will widen the roadway from 2 to 4 lanes, add several turn lanes, and improve bike lanes and sidewalks. Right-of-Way acquisition will be completed by the end of 2017.
