The Florida Department of Transportation (“FDOT”) has plans to widen SR 600 (US 17/92) from a 4 lane to 6 lane facility on the inside from Pleasant Hill Road to Portage Street. This 2.4 mile project includes an additional mile for a west bound flyover from SR 600 (US 17/92) to southbound Pleasant Hill Road. FDOT has budgeted over $17 million for Right-of-Way acquisition. This project is currently in the Design phase.
