The Florida Department of Transportation (“FDOT”) is currently in the Design phase of a project to convert US 19 into a six lane controlled access roadway. The project will run between Nebraska Avenue to Timberlane Road in Pinellas County. Additionally, new interchanges will be built at Alderman Road and Innisbrook/Citrus Drive. Construction has not yet been funded and will be scheduled at a later date.
