The Florida Department of Transportation (“FDOT”) is in the Design phase of a project to rebuild North 62nd Street from the CSX Intermodal Entrance to East Columbus Drive in Hillsborough County. The improvements to this 0.5 mile project include drainage upgrades, bike lanes, and sidewalks. Right-of-way has been budgeted for $2.6 million. Construction is anticipated to begin in 2022.
