SR 600 (US 17/92) from Pleasant Hill Road to Portage Street

Osceola County

The Florida Department of Transportation (“FDOT”) is currently in the Design phase of a project to widen SR 600 (US 17/92) from Pleasant Hill Road to Portage Street in Osceola County. The project will add a lane within the median in each direction, creating a six-lane divided urban highway with a median, bike lanes, and sidewalks in each direction. Additionally, the project will have several new ponds. Right-of-way acquisition is needed and has been budgeted for $25 million. Construction is currently unfunded and will be scheduled at a later date.
