Hello, my name is Raymer Maguire, I’m a 30 year eminent domain practitioner. And the question at hand is, how are commercial relocation expenses calculated? And the answer is, that you generally look at the tax returns of the commercial tenant, and if there is $40,000 worth of net profit for two years in a row, the government will pay a lump sum payment of $40,000 for relocation benefits to a commercial tenant. There are other ways this could be calculated if you don’t have that kind of tax return, but it’s basically a very clean way of getting relocation benefits without having to detail everything of all your expenses.
