Do Eminent Domain Cases Differ if I own Property in a State Other Than My State?

Hello, my name is Raymer Maguire, and I’m a 30 year eminent domain practitioner that limits his practice to representing property owners and businesses. And the question at hand is, does the eminent domain process differ if I own property being taken in a state other than in my state of residence? The answer is, definitely. Florida’s laws tend to be more favorable to property owners than many other states in the union. I’m not an expert on any eminent domain laws other than in Florida, so I can’t give you a more detailed comparison than that.
