Raymer F. Maguire III
Raymer has over 30 years of eminent domain and trial experience. Focusing solely on eminent domain cases since 1988, Raymer has represented over 1080 property owners and businesses, and has earned Martindale-Hubbell’s “Highest Possible Peer Review Rating in Legal Ability & Ethical Standards” for the last eighteen years. Raymer is the third of four Orange County Maguires practicing law from 1915 to present. A native of Orlando, Raymer is the third generation of a family that traces its Florida roots back over 130 years to the shores of Lake Apopka. He is committed to continuing his family’s tradition of community investment, by fostering the local community’s sustainable development. Raymer has represented clients against condemning authorities at the city, county, and state levels in more than a dozen Florida counties. Raymer received his B.A. with Honors from the University of Florida (1975), and received his Juris Doctorate from Florida State University College of Law in 1979 where he was published in the FSU Law Review. He has served on the board of several local organizations, including the Valencia College Board of Trustees, Valencia College Foundation, Central Care Mission, the Kiwanis Club of Orlando, and the Citrus Club Board of Governors. Raymer enjoys spending time cycling and competing in stair climbing competitions.
