SR 50 from Lockhart Road to East of Remington Road

The Florida Department of Transportation (“FDOT”) will begin preliminary engineering for widening SR 50 from Lockhart Road to Remington Road in 2018. The project improvements include widening the existing four-lane divided through road located in Hernando County to a six-lane corridor with a raised median, 8 foot shoulders, 12-foot lanes, paved shoulders with added bike lanes and sidewalks located on both sides of the roadway. The improvement is anticipated to be just under 1 mile.
