Wekiva Parkway Section 7A

Seminole County

The Florida Department of Transportation ("FDOT") has completed the design for building 3.53 miles of limited access toll road largely along the existing State Road 46 corridor from a half mile east of Wekiva Park Drive to Orange Boulevard. The project will include non-tolled, service roads for local travel, slip ramps to enter and exit the Wekiva Parkway, and several bridges over side streets. FDOT has budgeted $61.5 million for right of way acquisition. Construction is scheduled to began in April 2018 and is anticipated to be completed in 2022. New Oxford Road From SR 436 to US Highway 17/92

Seminole County

Seminole County Public Works is currently in the process of acquiring land for the widening and extension of Oxford Road between State Road 436 and US Highway 17/92. The project will widen 0.5 miles of Oxford Road from 2-4 lanes. Additionally, the roadway will be extended 0.5 miles to reach US Highway 17/92. This project is currently in the Design phase and will be completed in April 2018. Land acquisition began in November 2016 and is expected to finish April 2018. Construction is currently scheduled to begin in July 2018. I-4 Express from SR 434 to US 17/92 – Segment 3

The Florida Department of Transportation ("FDOT"), is currently in the Design phase for a 10.2 mile section in Seminole County between State Road 434 and US 17-92. The purpose of the project is to provide enhanced mobility throughout Central Florida on I-4.  The project will improve the three General Use lanes and add two new Express Lanes in each direction, resulting in a total of ten lanes. Right-of-Way for segment 3 is expected to impact 49 parcels, and is funded to begin acquisition in 2021. Construction is anticipated to begin in either 2026 or 2027.
