SR 52 from Uradco Place to West of Fort King Road

Pasco County

The Florida Department of Transportation ("FDOT") is currently in the Design phase of a project to widen and realign SR 52 from Uradco Place to West of Fort King Road in Pasco County. The project has several parts: Between Uradco Place and Bayou Branch Canal, the existing road will be widened to a four lane divided roadway; East of Bayou Branch Canal, the new alignment of four lane divided SR 52 will be built south of the existing SR 52 tying into Clinton Avenue; Clinton Avenue between CR 579 and Fort King Road will be widened to a four lane divided road as well. Additionally, Clinton Avenue between CR 579 and US 301 will become the new SR 52. Right-of-way acquisition is underway and has been budgeted for $21 million. Construction is anticipated to begin in late 2019. SR 52 (Schrader Highway) from East of US 41 (SR 45) to West of CR 581 (Bellamy Brothers Blvd)

Pasco County

The Florida Department of Transportation ("FDOT") is currently in the Design phase of a project to widen SR 52 (Schrader Highway) from East of US 41 (SR 45) to West of CR 581 (Bellamy Brothers Blvd). This 8.5 mile project will widen SR 52 from the existing two lane road to a four lane divided road. Additionally, a 12 foot wide multi-use trail will be built along the North side of the roadway. $12.2 million has been budgeted for right of way acquisition. Construction is not yet funded and will be scheduled at a later date. US 301 (SR 41) from SR 39 to South of CR 54

Pasco County

The Florida Department of Transportation ("FDOT") is currently in the Design phase of a project to widen and realign US 301 (SR 41) from SR 39 to South of CR 54. The project will widen US 301 from two lanes to a four lane divided roadway. Bike lanes and sidewalks will also be added along both sides of the roadways. Right of way has been budgeted for $26 million, construction has not yet been funded and will be scheduled at a later date. The Florida Department of Transportation ("FDOT") is currently in the Design phase of a project to widen SR 52 (Schrader Highway) from the Suncoast Parkway to east of US 41. The roadway will be improved to be a six lane divided road. Additionally, a 12 foot wide multi-use trail will be built along the north side of SR 52. The project will be about 3.8 miles in length. Right of way acquisition has been budgeted for $72 million and is currently underway. Construction is expected to begin in 2019.
