New Oxford Road From SR 436 to US Highway 17/92

Seminole County Public Works is currently in the process of acquiring land for the widening and extension of Oxford Road between State Road 436 and US Highway 17/92. The project will widen 0.5 miles of Oxford Road from 2-4 lanes. Additionally, the roadway will be extended 0.5 miles to reach US Highway 17/92. This project is currently in the Design phase and will be completed in April 2018. Land acquisition began in November 2016 and is expected to finish April 2018. Construction is currently scheduled to begin in July 2018. I-4 Express from SR 434 to US 17/92 – Segment 3

Seminole County

The Florida Department of Transportation ("FDOT"), is currently finishing a Project Development and Environment Reevaluation Study ("PD&E") for a 10.2 mile section in Seminole County between State Road 434 and US 17-92. The purpose of the project is to provide enhanced mobility throughout Central Florida on I-4.  The project will improve the three General Use lanes and add two new Express Lanes in each direction, resulting in a total of ten lanes. Right-of-Way for segment 3 is expected to impact 49 parcels, and is budgeted for $40 million. Construction is anticipated to begin in either 2026 or 2027. Wekiva Parkway from East of Wekiva River Rd to Orange Blvd

Seminole County

The Florida Department of Transportation ("FDOT") is working to build 3.53 miles of a limited access toll road largely along the existing State Road 46 corridor from East of Wekiva Park Drive to Orange Boulevard. The project includes designing non-toll service roads for local travel, slips ramps to enter and exit Wekiva Parkway, and several bridges over side streets. SR 426 / CR 419 (Pine Avenue) to Avenue B

Seminole County

The Florida Department of Transportation ("FDOT") has completed design plans to widen SR 426 and CR 419 to four lanes. The approved design for this phase consists of a four lane corridor with a raised median. The design calls for bicycle lanes in both directions. Right-of-Way acquisition for the SR 426 and CR 419 expansion is underway and is expected to continue until the end of 2017. Phase 3 of the project (Avenue B to west of Lockwood Boulevard) is still awaiting proper funding.
